Semi-Finalists Announced in Public Radio Quest
After sifting through over 1,400 entries, the Public Radio Talent Quest has selected 10 semi-finalists to continue onto the second round of the contest where they will be asked to complete a series of "audio challenges."
This first-of-its-kind contest had 136,000 votes cast in the first round and are hoping for even more as the competition gets tougher. Of the audio submissions, the judges were given 180 to consider, out of which 9 were chosen and the top vote-getter was automatically included.
The next round promises to be just as entertaining with seven of the ten continuing onto the third round and receiving a $1,000 prize.
