Negroponte and One Laptop Per Child Take Center Stage

Nicholas Negroponte, Chairman of the One Laptop per Child Project and keynote speaker at this year's Internet & Society Conference, was featured this past Sunday on 60 Minutes.

The program's, much like the project's, focus was on the question of "What If Every Child Had A Laptop?," as the piece dove into the ideals and roadblocks that have come with the years of hard work.

Video of the segment has been posted online, and includes a full interview with Professor Negroponte that touches on topics such as OLPC's mission, Intel's Classmate - another notebook targeted for "emerging markets," and education practice and policy in the developing world.
