OpenNet Initiative Reports on Nigerian Election

This past month, the OpenNet Initiative traveled to Nigeria for their national elections on April 14th, where they monitored the country's Internet for signs of filtering.

The group's report and assessment have been posted to the OpenNet Initiative Blog and as Berkman Center Executive Director John Palfrey notes on his blog, "the election was fraught with issues generally," but no evidence of Internet tampering was found.

Visit their website for the full explanation of the Nigerian elections study and many other projects currently underway.
