"A Crowd of One" Lecture and Discussion

This past Thursday, Berkman fellow John Clippinger celebrated the release of his newest work, A Crowd of One: The Future of Individual Identity with a lecture held at Harvard Law School and a reception at the Berkman Center.

Video of John's talk with the question and answer session has been posted to MediaBerkman. Berkman Fellow David Weinberger also provides a great summary of the discussion, where he noted John's comments on the future of digital identity: "In re-imagining identity as the virtual and real worlds become more intertmingled, people will want control over their identities. They'll want to have a persistent identity. They'll want multiple identities, the ability to take their identity info in and out of different virtual worlds."

John's book is now available for purchase online.  Stay tuned for the NEW Berkman Books section of our website, where you will soon find all of the works published by our faculty, fellows, and affiliates over the Berkman Center's 10 years!
