Psiphon User Guide Now Available

The Citizen Lab at the Munk Centre for International Studies, University of Toronto, which first released Psiphon in late 2006, have recently developed a "Psiphon User Guide" to ease the proliferation of users around the world.

As their website states, "Psiphon is a censorship circumvention solution that allows users to access blocked sites in countries where the Internet is censored.  Psiphon turns a regular home computer into a personal, encrypted server capable of retrieving and displaying web pages anywhere."

This new guide allows prospective users to easily walk through the process of downloading the program, as well as addressing questions of how the program functions and how to resolve common issues that have occured during its months use.  The hope is that this latest tool will further the spread of the program and Internet access beyond the censorship that has become so prevelent in countries around the world.
