Luncheon Series: Mapping the Network Neutrality Debate

This afternoon, Barbara van Schewick, of the Technical University of Berlin spoke to a crowded room during the Berkman Center's weekly Luncheon Series, to discuss her work on the debate of network neutrality.

Today's discussion explored the rationale behind the various proposals relating to network neutrality and weighed their advantages and disadvantages. Highlighting the choices that legislators and regulators will have to make, Barbara suggested what a network neutrality regime in the public interest should consist of, while answering questions from the audience relating to the potential hurdles of such a system.
