Students: Apply for the Summer Doctoral Programme

The Oxford Internet Institute has just opened up registration for The Summer Doctoral Programme 2007.  It will be held here at The Berkman Center from July 16-27, 2007.  From their site:

"Leading academics including OII Faculty and Berkman Faculty and Fellows will conduct daily research seminars, talks and panel sessions. Students will both present their research and offer feedback to their peers, and there will also be scope for break-out sessions where groups can focus more narrowly on research questions of mutual interest.

The Programme will facilitate deep discussion of substantive theoretical, methodological and policy issues, and will be designed to help students to better frame their research questions, adopt the most appropriate methodological approaches, and improve the structure of their theses.

Applications are welcomed from students in any discipline
who are currently undertaking doctoral research on social, political, legal and economic issues relating to the Internet.  The deadline for applications is 5pm GMT on 12th February 2007."

You can learn more about the Programme and the application process at the Oxford Internet Institute site.
