The Future of Digital Media and Learning

When it announced plans to commit more than $50 million dollars to the field of digital media and learning, the MacArthur Foundation also launched a blog, "Spotlight: blogging the field of Digital Media and Learning."

The blog is intended to be a social hub for people interested in learning and sharing knowledge about this field:

* Each week this Spotlight will provide a central focal point for "what's important" in the emerging field of digital media and learning.
* The site offers the public a first opportunity to get involved by signing up to get notified of major news and collaboration opportunities.
* Over the next 12 months it will roll out social networking resources called the “Knowledge Network.”
