Berkman Events Webcast This Week

There are several exciting events happening this week at Berkman, and all will be webcast live. We will also be monitoring our IRC chat channel to take questions from those who are listening in remotely.

Today, 4/18, our luncheon series guests are Berkman Fellow William McGeveran, Professor Terry Fisher, and Student Fellow Jackie Harlow, presenting a progress report on their year-long research project about Educational Uses of Content in the Digital Age.  The live webcast will start at 12:30 pm EST.

Wednesday, 4/19, Digital Media in Asia speakers series guest Bill Hennessey will discuss "Are there 'Special Characteristics' in Chinese IP Law?" The live webcast will begin at 4:00 pm EST.

Also Wednesday evening, 4/19, Dan Gillmor will lead discussion in the next installment of his citizens media series, Engaging With the News. Discussion will focus on becoming a citizen journalist. The live webcast will begin at 7:00 pm EST.
