2006-07 Berkman Cyberlaw Clinic

If you will be a 2L or 3L student at HLS next year and think you might be interested in joining our Berkman Clinical Program in Cyberlaw, you can learn more at the Clinical Forum tonight, Wednesday, April 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chipman Gray Room in Pound.

Phil Malone, the Cyberlaw Clinic director, and one of our current clinical students will be available at the Forum to describe the work of the Clinic and the exciting opportunities available to you as a participant; representatives from most other HLS clinics and externship placements will also be in attendance.

Pre-registration for the Berkman Clinic is through the clinical lottery, which runs from 9am Tuesday, April 25 through 3pm Thursday, April 27 on MyPlan, the new online student registration system.  For more information on the lottery please visit the Office of Clinical Programs website.

The Clinical Program in Cyberlaw provides hands-on opportunities for Harvard Law School students to enhance their preparation for high-tech and IP practice and to earn course credit by working on a variety of real-world litigation, client counseling, advocacy, legislation, and transactional/licensing projects and cases.  The Clinic provides high-quality, pro-bono legal services to appropriate individuals, small start-ups, non-profit groups and government entities regarding cutting-edge issues of the Internet, new technology and intellectual property. Visit our Clinical website for more details on the program and a representative list of some or our recent cases and clients.
