6:15 Meeting: Internet Governance 101 with David Isenberg

Berkman Fellow David Isenberg will host Internet Governance gurus Desiree Miloshevic and Harvard's Scott Bradner.  Desiree and Scott will give an historical overview of Internet governance, including how and why organizations like ICANN, IANA, IETF, ISOC and other organizations began, and what's behind some recent attempts to change Internet governance structures.

From David Isenberg: "If you don't know your ISOC from your ISHOE, if you wonder why ICANN CANNT (or wONNT), if you WSIS it would all go away, if you can't remember why they took IANA toothpaste off the shelves, and if you wonder what the FCC is going on, this evening is for you."

For those in the Boston area, the meeting will be held in the Berkman Center's conference room. If you would like to attend, please rsvp by emailing isen AT isen.com.

We will make the meeting available by podcast.  Please check the BerkmanAudio page.
