March 2: Exploring Careers in Intellectual Property

The Berkman Center and the Harvard Law School Journal of Law and Technology are sponsoring a forum on careers in the field of intellectual property. A panel of five prominent members of the Licensing Executives Society will discuss their professional adventures as lawyers, corporate executives, university licensing officers, and consultants. Speakers include Alan Gordon, Esq., patent attorney; Dennis Unkovic, Esq., specialist in international technology transactions; Dr. Lita Nelsen, director of MIT's Technology Licensing Office; Ada Nielsen, manager of commerical development at BP Chemicals; and Robert Goldscheider, Esq., licensing attorney, chairman of the International Licensing Network and HLS alumnus ('54).

Attendees will learn about the range of career options within intellectual property law, and have the opportunity to meet the speakers and other active practitioners from the Boston area. Refreshments will be served. The event takes place Wednesday, March 2, from 7:30-9:30 pm in the Austin North classroom at Harvard Law School.
