Forum on Napster's Return -- The Incorporation of Digital Music?

Can Napster, the once revolutionary P2P service, refashion itself as a corporate player in the new digital media marketplace? What does this mean for the future of music, copyright, and creativity? Professor Ronald V. Bettig of Penn State University, author of Copyrighting Culture: The Political Economy of Intellectual Property and long-time critic of the intellectual property regime, will discuss what the corporatization of Napster means for creative culture and the law. The Labor & Worklife Program at Harvard Law School presents this event on Wednesday, Oct. 6 from 2:20-4:20 in Hauser Hall 104 (Harvard Law School).
