Frohlich Advises Clinical Students on Representing Tech Clients

Litigator, Julie Frohlich, a partner in the Boston firm Goulston & Storrs, delivered expert advice regarding representation of technology clients to Berkman Center clinical students during their final session on April 27.  Taking note of the current dependence on technology in all aspects of business and culture, even low-tech clients can end up in high-tech disputes.  With an extensive practice that has included disputes over a wide range of technologies, from bar codes to toxicological assays, Ms. Frohlich described concerns that are common to all, such as forum selection, educating technically unsophisticated judges and juries, managing expert testimony and overcoming the litigator's own technical learning curve.
