Gerald Chertavian on the Year Up Program

Gerald Chertavian, founder of Year Up, a year-long program which trains disadvantaged young people in technology and places them in internships, joined us today to discuss his journey and the program. He spoke about his early experiences with Big Brother programs, and his promise upon entry to Harvard Business School that he would someday start a school to help urban youth. He has done just that, and now Year Up gives approximately 150 students a year a bridge over the "opportunity divide."
