Alan Spoon of Polaris Ventures: eCommerce Is Not Dead

Venture capitalist Alan Spoon of Polaris Ventures joined the Berkman Center for a lively discussion on journalism, ecommerce, the tech boom and why the bust was not a bust for all, and many other subjects.  It is a cyclical industry, he said, but it is not dead.  "Change makes it possible for people to put capital to work," Spoon commented.  Later, he turned the tables, asking several weblog writers and experts in the room how blogging could be lucrative, and why it is important.
