Fight the Copyright Lockdown, Lessig Argues

Rethink copyright and revive our creative culture, argued Stanford Law School Professor Lawrence Lessig in a speech at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University last week.  Lessig's multi-media pitch compared the absurdity of recent copyright restrictions with a radical alternative -- a world in which people can rip, mix, and burn pieces of their digital surroundings into new creations.  Read more about the presentation in Rip, Mix, and Burn, a Berkman Center Briefing about Lessig's case for Free Culture.
