SCO's Darl McBride to Speak at HLS, Monday, 2/2

The Harvard Journal of Law and Technology (JOLT) presents Darl McBride, president and CEO of SCO, to speak on the topic "Defending Intellectual Property Rights in a Digital Age." This event will take place on Monday, February 2nd at 6:30pm in Austin North. Berkman Center Executive Director John Palfrey will introduce Mr. McBride. SCO's current suit (called by some the "case against open source") against IBM for unfair trade practices and other alleged violations has been making headlines in cyberlaw and mainstream media.
