McLaughlin Appears on South African News Program

On Wednesday, Berkman Fellow Andrew McLaughlin was the guest on South Africa's national nightly business news show. He was interviewed about the ways African governments are inhibiting the deployment of Internet networks and technologies, and how they might do better. Andrew was in Johannesburg to speak at the iWeek conference, sponsored by the South African Department of Communication, the Internet Service Providers' Association (ISPA), The UniForum SA (the CO.ZA Administrators), and the Internet Society - South Africa. His talk was on "(De)Regulation for the Future of IT in Africa."
