Reporters Without Borders

Julien Pain, the head of the Internet Freedom Desk at Reporters Without Borders spoke to his experiences at RWB and presented a "Guide for Bloggers." "Guide for Bloggers" is a practical guide for bypassing censorship and anonymous publication. Reporters Without Borders tracks limitations on the freedom of the press -- arrests and jailings of bloggers and cyberdissidents, legislation, and filtering practices on the part of repressive regimes -- and reports them to the media, lobbies governments, and organizes protests around these issues.
