GOVERNANCE

Governance is a term that has come to shape the debate not merely about ICANN, but also about the internet's future. The participants have tried to assess the impact of thinking about this debate in terms of governance. Does governance provide an appropriate framework for thinking about the internet's future? Does anything we've seen so far qualify as governance? More importantly, each participant has also tried to articulate his own vision of what values the internet can serve and what kind of governance - if any - we need to protect and to promote those values.
