Laura Fong is a rising junior at Tufts University and an intern at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society this summer. She is interested in issues of internet governance, especially in censorship policies put forth by government and private organizations. As an intern working for the Open Net Initiative, she is working to help establish the foundation for a newly launched internet surveillance project.

Laura has worked in the past with the Department of Defense at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, and continues to work with the Communications-Electronics Research and Development Engineering Center (CERDEC) in leveraging technology to best serve both the civilian population within the government and the uniformed services.
