The Internet as a Public Good Symposium
The Internet as Public Good Symposium is focused on exploring the ideas of the Net as a public good, for the public good and as a tool to foster the creation and distribution of public goods.
During this first edition of the symposium, will discuss how the public good aspects of the Net relate to art, business, civil society, culture, economics, government, science and technology.
The goal of the event is two-fold: first, we hope to improve the understanding of what the Net really means to our near-global society; second, we seek to use this knowledge to help further the participants individual and group efforts.
The symposium will be held on the Harvard Business School campus in Boston, MA, USA, on July 30-31, 2007.
