Instructions

This page is for potential supplementary interviews for class use to be voted on by students. Students will submit names and vote on their favorites of the names submitted.

To add a candidate

If you have a suggestion, click on the edit link for the Voting section and add two lines to the table that look like this, with the text "Example Person" replaced with the name of your candidate (note that you will have to replace "Example person" twice).

|-
| Example person ||

Then click on the edit link for the talk page and add a section at the bottom of the page that looks like this (again, replace "Example person" with the name of your candidate).

Example person
Your comments on why this person would be a good candidate for a supplementary interview
for the class. Include links to resources when possible, and sign your edit with four tildes
at the end. ~~~~

Clicking on the name of your candidate on the table should now bring you to that person's discussion section on the talk page.

You have finished adding your candidate (now you may want to add a vote for them!)

To vote for a candidate

We use excellence voting and the honor system.

 1. Click on the edit link for the Voting section.
 2. Look at the list of names and add a single plus sign (+) to the right of the line for each candidate you like. Only vote once for each candidate.
 3. Click the "Save page" button.

For instance, if there were 3 votes for Example Person 1 and you wanted to add your vote, you would add a plus sign to this...

|-
| Example person 1 || +++

...so that it looked like this.

|-
| Example person 1 || ++++

To discuss a candidate

Click on the name of the candidate and add your notes to the discussion. Remember to start a new paragraph (leave a blank line between the last person's note and yours)

(like this)

And sign your edits with four tildes (~~~~) so that it will look like this: Mchua 11:05, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
