Hello, I am very excited about this class. I intend to sign up later tonight or tomorrow morning when the cash enters my debit card account. However, I wish to point out a contradiction in the descriptions of assignment number 3: In one page the maximum time of the segment is said to be seven minutes and it is said to be ten minutes in another. Hello, A feedback on the Mar 4 - Digital Civil Society class. Watching these political satires were very interesting indeed. My first thought was that these satires about politicians probably didn't serve any purposes (except a few good laughs). But thinking about it after class I thought these are really good tools to get people to engage and partcipate in politics.

Feedback on Mar 11 - Internet & Democracy class. The topic is very interesting and the case study provides us with relevant information and many discussion points. The first session of the class gives us a very comprehensive overview of democracy which set the stage for the case study discussion. However I was a bit lost initially as I am not familiar with Ukraine situation leading to the revolution. The session with the guests is very worthwhile especially with Andy(?) who actually involved in the activities back then. The question I have - is the use of the internet by Maidan a knee-jerk sporadic reaction or does it set a precedent and have a long lasting effect on the promotion of freedom of speech in Ukraine?
