My name is Mike Goren and I'm a Master's student in the (NYU Steinhardt) Media, Culture, and Communication program. I have a CS degree from Duke and, since undergrad, have been studying Internet policy issues on my own and through whatever classes I can track down.

I spent a few years between undergrad and grad editing documentary films. In my "spare time" that is rumored to exist, I take photos, play German strategy board games, climb indoor rock walls, and escape the city to explore nature. :)
