About me

Hi I'm another Jonathan, not to be confused with the other Jonathan on this course. By day, my job is science and technology reporter for BBC News in London. I write about anything and everything that comes under that banner, from palaeontology and video games to particle physics and super-computing.

I used to be a radio producer at the BBC World Service where I became interested in global technology and how it affects our lives. I was one of the original production staff of a programme (sorry - I tend to default to UK spelling) called Go Digital, which has since gone digital and is now known as Digital Planet. For the next year I am a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT.
