My name is Rainer Hoell. I am a first year MPA student at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Short bio

During my philosophy undergrad I worked on the rising power of internet search engines and the effects on media democracy and child protection. Parallel to my work and studies, I founded an NGO in Germany that provided the first free social network web application for high schools to manage alumni networks (Alumni at School). After my masters degree, I worked in the science and research department of the Robert Bosch Foundation. I have been reading Slashdot for many years and at any time of day.
