The Idea

We are looking to do the following: Evangelize Mesh Networking -Established meshnetworking.org -Explaining “Why Mesh Networking” for a general audience -Help people start Mesh Networks -Build a demonstration mesh network to extend access to Harvard’s network access for students.

Research Issues Inhibiting Mesh Networking Adoption -Researching: Current Mesh Technologies -Researching: Unique Legal and Policy Issues

Contribute To Mesh Networking Projects -OLSR -Commotion Develop Ideas For Applications To Spur Adoption -Emergency Response -Military Application -Supporting Freedom of Speech/Internet -Extending Network/Free WIFI.
