Dear all,
I just read an interesting article from 'Cult of the dead cow' on
'Hacktivism', i e "using technology to advance human rights through
electronic media":

If I recall it right, even Amnesty International have practiced Hacktivism
to a certain amount.

There is of course a lot of things to consider regarding hacktivism, but it
might also work as an incentive for bridging digital divides. If there is a
will to help nations struggling with dictatorship, hacktivism values could
probably be used not only for disprutive means but also for constructive
challenges. Anyway, the Register article linked above seemed like good food
for thought to me. I hope you like it too.
