RE: [dvd-discuss]SSSCA comments Now at TWIKI

I called Bob Nelson's (co-sponsor of bill and senator from my state)  Washington office regarding the site and this issue.  The aide that answered the phone wasn't even aware that the senator was co-sponsor on the bill; she wondered why he was getting so many complaints about the bill and about the site being down.  

I asked for the address so that I could mail my comments directly to the senator.  I was told that mail (due to 9/11 security processing) was taking up to 2 months before it was delivered.  She recommended faxing it to the senator's office instead.

It may be a good idea to take the same approach for comments to the committee as well.

Anybody else want to add it there, either set up your won TWIKI account or  
post them to DVD-DISCUSS and I'll do it. I'm finding it a little incredulous 
that they have had the problem for a week and nothing;s been done. ALso there 
is no webmaster url I couldn't resist sending Sen.Feinstein and Kennedy short 
emails today telling them that for some reason the website is not accepting 
comments ..Oh..my gosh.....how can that be?....OK...I'm still naive...:-)
