It doesn't have much to do with the current discussion, but one of Card's
short stories in the "Ender's Game" universe does mention Ender receiving
royalties from books he wrote thousands of years previously under a
pseudonym nobody associates with his real identity. The means of "life
extension" in this case is repeated relativistic travel rather than cryo,
but the implications are similar.
