ehm, that is not true. in the questionable timespan, the US has
missiled villages in syria or lebanon (forgot which, sorry), bombarded
a pharma factory in sudan ("chemical weapons factory" - weird how none
of the independent investigators found even traces of hints), sent
missiles and bombers into various souvereign nations, including
afghanistan, and supported the israel government with weapons and money,
knowing perfectly that at least some of that will be responsible for
the death of innocents in palestina.

for every dead you suffered on tuesday, you've already taken tenfold
revenge during the past few decades.

that wasn't a noble gesture, it was pathetic failure. it's not that you
didn't try. there have been several attempts to assassinate or kill Bin
Laden.

there's a difference between taking someone to court and killing a
family father because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
there is no such difference between an american family father and a
palestin/syrian/afghan family father.

but it looks good on television, which is exactly why it'll happen.

this is not about "deserving". no questions asked that those who were
killed did not deserve it. ignoring that, you as a nation had it
coming. the only reason why you're not at war with 20+ foreign nations
is that they're too small and too afraid. but just because you're the
largest bully on the schoolyard doesn't mean you're always right. if
you're looking for the ones ultimately responsible for the gruesame
tuesday events, then I suggest you arrest and shoot your presidents and
foreign affairs guys of the past 50 years or so.
