Glad to see the VRM stuff warming up, it's been simmering for a decade now in various forms.
I remember sitting at an Identity Workshop five years ago and talking to Doc about attention and intention-based marketing.
In 1999 I had created a digital "chop" which stored a person's information, and by dragging the icon on a web page, the contextually relevant information would be consumed by the site.
Currently I'm working with a big data provider on an identity verification credential, as I have done every few years. If they don't drop the ball, they will have identity tied into trust, reputation and marketing preferences at an enormous scale.
I am excited to come to the August event. Hope to meet you all there.
