Revision as of 16:09, 30 August 2020
I blogged at Google Plus (G+) from July 9, 2011 to November 5, 2018. In October 2018, Google announced that it would terminate G+ for users like me, and delete all our posts. I was not happy about it.
I began saving my G+ posts to the Internet Archive (IA) and Conifer (then called WebRecorder). I saved a small fraction to the IA, and nearly all of them to Conifer.
Here are my major G+ posts. I list them here with the original G+ URLs (even if they're mostly useless after April 2019) and the newer, permanent URLs for the IA and Conifer. —Peter Suber.
- Altogether I wrote more than 1,400 posts for G+.
- Here I list 71. I started with a smaller number, added more over time, and may add more in the future.
- For my older blog, Open Access News (2002-2010), see my details elsewhere. Likewise, for my current blog (2020 —), see my details elsewhere.
- Most recent first, just like a blog.
