I am Imre Simon a (retired) Professor of Computer Science at the University of São Paulo.
I am a great admirer of Yochai Benkler's work and would like to understand better the aspects and mechanisms of Social Production. I have a particular interest in the concepts of nonrival commons, the evolution of information and the Open Access movement to the Scientific Literature.
I coordinate a project of incentivating and facilitating the Cooperative Construction of Open Contents at the Virtual Incubator of Digital Contents, where we look forward to your visit.
I also teach a discipline in Portuguese, since 1999, which tries to analyse the Social Impacts of the Internet: Informação, Comunicação e a Sociedade do Conhecimento.
I also have lots of other interests in Theoretical Computer Science but I guess that "that's another story" from the WoN perspective.
