Notes

Mission Plan

The biggest issue is whether or not we want to be a standards group and we pretty much need Doc to resolve that.

Their is a clear consenus that becoming an accredited SDO isn't worth the effort, but it isn't quite clear how to structure our own efforts.

Whether we are our own standards development organization, similar to IETF and W3C, or if we can be a purely advisory and evangelical role.

Framework Document

The "Americanized" version of this will be distributed soon. For review and discussion on Sunday. Dean should be getting it out this afternoon or tomorrow.

Prep for Sunday

Any other get togethers? Many folks will be getting in Saturday.

Do we have a head count? Current estimates between 15 and 20.

European Activities

Perhaps something in January or March? Bart has been talking with Adrianna about January, and will continue conversations with Iain and Alan.

Will try to set up both public "evangelizing" meetings as well as working sessions.

Use Cases

Bart suggested we isolate a few Use Cases and build some demo web pages that we all can use in presenting to the public, so we have a coherent presentation to take VRM to the next level.
