An act to amend the provisions of title 17, United States Code, and the Communications Act of 1934, relating to copyright licensing and carriage of broadcast signals by satellite. The message also announced that the Senate insists upon its amendment to the bill (H.R. 1554) ``An Act to amend the provisions of title 17, United States Code, and the Communications Act of 1934, relating to copyright licensing and carriage of broadcast signals by satellite,'' requests a conference with the House on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses thereon, and appoints from the-- Committee on the Judiciary, Mr. Hatch, Mr. Thurmond, Mr. DeWine, Mr. Leahy, and Mr. Kohl; and from the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, Mr. McCain, Mr. Stevens, and Mr. Hollings; to be the conferees on the part of the Senate. ____________________
