EFF Questions Regarding the DeCSS Cases

Introduction

On March 3, 2000, Robin Gross of the Electronic Frontier Foundation submitted a list of questions to the OpenLaw dvd-discuss forum regarding the current DeCSS cases. These are the questions, and an attempt to provide some answers.
