SCHEDULING ORDER NO. 8

In accordance with the proceedings at the in-chambers scheduling conference of April 5, 2000, it is, this __ day of April, 2000,

ORDERED, that the plaintiff United States shall file its preferred proposed form permanent injunction and the plaintiff states shall file any single proposed form of permanent injunction preferred by a majority of the plaintiff states if at variance with the version proposed by the United States, by April 25, 2000 if practicable, or, in any event, by April 28, 2000 at the latest; and it is

FURTHER ORDERED, that defendant Microsoft shall file its summary response to plaintiffs' proposal(s) including its objections to any or all proposed forms of permanent injunction, any counter-proposal(s) to the plaintiff submission(s), and its recommendations for future proccedings on the issue of remedy, by May 10, 2000; and it is

FURTHER ORDERED, that the plaintiff United States and the plaintiff states shall file any reply(s) to defendant Microsoft's response by May 17, 2000; and it is

FURTHER ORDERED, that all filings aforesaid shall be on the public record; and it is

FURTHER ORDERED, that a hearing on remedies is scheduled for May 24, 2000 at 10 a.m. in Courtroom No. 2.
