we built something called Safebrowser, which is a derivative of WebView for Android. The page domain is in black (see theverge.com) and the ad server and ad tracker domains that are blocked are in red below it. We also have a greenlist function which allows the user to greenlist sites they trust. This means the site can load ads normally while trackers remain blocked. Based on reviewing these lists, I add new ad serving and tracking domains to our master list.

Well, entangled in that theme was the idea to have an anonymous registry of sites & whether their terms are positive, neutral or negative for the user. Totally unrealistic, due to bots, machine parsing, liability, etc, of course :)

BUT it does occur to me that if a tool like Privacy Badger emitted a stream of tracker lists and origins, that it couldn't be **that** hard for a data wizard to create a searchable, filter-able pool of data that lets folks explore what web sites are surveilling using particular tools, without having to be exposed to every site on the internet.

Has anyone on this list heard of any project similar to this concept?

Anyone want to build it?
