I agree with Adrian. Unless the the shopping cart is something I control, it's not very VRMy. As a general principle I don't want any commercial offering to be 'universal' unless it's a specification or ubiquitous tool under the control of the consumer. Otherwise you get monopoly and market control (the corollary of the Internet's long tail is the very tall and narrow peak at the head of the tail).
