I very much like the framing as a personal assistant and would very much appreciate an introduction to James and the MyWave folks. If you're seeing this, please contact me off list. My company is convening the "Intelligent Assistants Conference" in New York in October. And MyWave fits one of the implementation models so well, it will be great to learn more.

Thanks,

Dan

Apologies for the brevity. Sent from mobile phone.
In IOT + MyWave = Ambient Harmony, James Ladd outlines an intriguing approach to VRM and one's things. His bottom lines:

Imagine you are on your way home from work and as you near your house your car triggers an ‘arrival’ event. Your garage door opens automatically and the lights and heater turn on in your house. These scenarios and more are possible today.

I can see a world where IOT devices are shipped with a MyWave extension that defines the events and rules needed to integrate it into our lives according to our preferences stored in our Personal Clouds. For more information or to talk further about this please send me an email or visit MyWave.

James and other MyWave folks are on the list, so feel free to talk about it here too.
