Kudos to the MyWave folks, right out Phil Windley’s LiveWeb. The real question becomes how do we make all of this become more decentralized platforms or better yet interoperable platforms dare I think.  Mixingboards for mixing AND that’s pretty cool.

In IOT + MyWave = Ambient Harmony, James Ladd outlines an intriguing approach to VRM and one's things. His bottom lines:

Imagine you are on your way home from work and as you near your house your car triggers an ‘arrival’ event. Your garage door opens automatically and the lights and heater turn on in your house. These scenarios and more are possible today.

I can see a world where IOT devices are shipped with a MyWave extension that defines the events and rules needed to integrate it into our lives according to our preferences stored in our Personal Clouds. For more information or to talk further about this please send me an email or visit MyWave.

James and other MyWave folks are on the list, so feel free to talk about it here too.
