It's nice to see progress on securing email. As a developer, to a great extent the security of my users is dependent on the security of their email -- e.g. password reset.

The sooner people recognize the security/privacy abominations of hotmail/yahoo/gmail and take back control of their email client and servers, the better.

What is the general sentiment on this list about the state of email? Are we hopeful or cynical?
