I’m watching related, so-important initiatives like Larry Lessig’s Rootstrikers and Mayday.us go, well, not exactly nowhere, but sometimes it feels like it.

And the problem is not that they aren’t striking at the root, but perhaps there is no root of the problem. Instead, it’s all inertwingled.

Let’s try this for VRM: what is the root problem that VRM'ers needs to strike at? Or the several? I’d think that as soon as you pull a string of cause-and-effect out of the hairball, the string just keeps on going.
