Anyway, if you're not already a TextSecure user, it's a drop-in
replacement texting app. I have RedPhone installed, haven't used it
yet (nobody I call voice uses it), but it should be roughly the same
thing for voice.

And the tools are open source, so you can audit the code. There's
still lots of reasons to be skeptical of the security of your phone,
all sorts of places in Android and hardware for people to hang hooks,
but it's a step in the right direction.
