Not quite that simple. We have a "War on Drugs"
but there's still a post office and there's still
cash in circulation, because they have other uses
that are hard to shut down.
New privacy technologies tend to do better if they
successfully stake out some non-infringing uses that
are important to legit users, the way the VCR clock
saved civilization in the _Sony_ case in 1984.
