I think the real take away for me regarding this article is this: 

 

“During the past several years, organizations large and small have started to create positions for privacy engineers—technologists responsible for ensuring that privacy is an integral part of the design process.”

I find it rather encouraging that there’s even an awareness of this shortage of privacy experts.
