Title: LinkedIn

Millions of dollars of data mining to figure out your husband is important to you.  If anyone else is considering undertaking such a project, I’m happy to sell you that intel for only ½ a million.

Actually, I’m not nearly so amused at who they picked as much as the notion that LinkedIn would be a smarter way to stay in touch.  Perhaps there are so many marriages on the rocks that they have concluded that LinkedIn is statistically likely to be a better option than, you know, speaking to your spouse.

Kind of like how they keep sending me ads for mature, single, Christian women.  Maybe adultery is so prevalent the odds are in their favor that I’d take the bait.  We just celebrated 30 years so we must be way out at the upper right of the bell curve and due for a break-up any moment now, statistically speaking.  I suppose I should be grateful they figured out which team I’m batting for.

Digital advertising is so smart.  Look whom their algorithm thought I’d care the most about
